SKORODENSKI

After two seasons with the WHL's Calgary Wranglers, Warren Skorodenski signed with the Chicago Blackhawks as a free agent in 1979. He spent one more season in Calgary before moving up to the AHL and IHL.

Skorodenski made his NHL debut in the 1981-82 season playing one game for the Hawks while spending the rest of the season in the AHL with the New Brunswick Hawks. That season, he shared the Harry "Hap" Holmes Memorial Award with Bob Janecyk for the fewest goals against.

The next few years saw Skorodenski play in the AHL and CHL with several teams before playing the entire season in Chicago in 1984-85. He saw limited time in his first Stanley Cup playoffs that year and headed back East for the next season in the AHL. He played six more games in the NHL, three in Chicago and three with the Oilers, after signing as a free agent in 1987.

Skorodenski finished his playing days with the Canadian National Team, finally hanging up his pads in the 1990-91 season.
