Captain Clay Higgins Ready to Fight

The stage has been set for the ultimate fight. This summer, on August 13th... in Monroe Louisiana at the Battle of the Badges...America's Toughest Cop Captain Clay Higgins who is a Reserve Marshal for the Lafayette Marshal's Office will fight Chief Battle Axe Roy Daniels of the Ouachita Parish Fire Department out of West Monroe, Louisiana. Captain Clay Higgins said it best:"I'll be climbing through the ropes to box. My opponent will be Fire-Chief Roy Daniels, a tough, well respected man. Cops and Firemen deal side by side with the very worst things our society has to offer. We respect each other in a way normal folk wouldn't understand...but there's an ongoing dispute amongst our rank and file...Who's tougher?... Cop, or Fireman? On August 13th, all for charity, we set the record straight. Street cop Captain versus fire-breathing Chief. Three rounds of full contact war. You do not want to miss this epic battle."

The Battle of the Badges is a non-profit amateur boxing show that features policemen versus firemen from all over the country. This year the main event between Captain Clay Higgins who you may know from his Crime Stoppers videos as a captain with the St. Landry Parish (LA) Sheriff's Office and Chief Roy Daniels will not disappoint. Higgins has also recently announced he is running for Congress in Louisiana's 3rd district and has gained a large following as America's Toughest Cop.
